Demidov Cracks the Kings of Mrakes

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Parker Talbot raised to 38,000 first to act and Andrei Demidov in the cutoff three-bet to 150,000. Michal Mrakes in the small blind four-bet to 508,000 and Talbot folded, while Demidov moved all in for 529,000. A quick call by Mrakes followed and both players turned over premium hands.

Andrei Demidov: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Michal Mrakes: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The {Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop gave Demidov top set while Mrakes picked up a flush draw on the {A-Hearts} turn. However, the {3-Spades} river was a blank and Mrakes had to forfeit one third of his stack.
