Render Rivers Straight to Best Gierse

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Milad Oghabian raised to 9,000 from the cutoff and folded to a shove by Mustapha Kanit.

One hand later, Marius Gierse opened to 9,000 and Lauren Render three-bet to 23,500, which Gierse called. Both checked the {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop before Gierse bet the {8-Diamonds} turn for 34,000. The {Q-Diamonds} appeared on the river and Gierse checked. Render needed some time to check behind, asking in table chat to herself if Gierse would check a flush.

Gierse rolled over {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a set of tens and Render had that beat with {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} for the ace-high straight.
