Motovsky Motoring to the Top

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

The action was folded around to Roman Motovsky on the button who just announced all-in for 1,400,000. The small blind folded and Sascha Ranzinger was left with a decision for his tournament life in the big blind.

"Normally this is an easy decision and I would snap," Ranzinger mumbled to himself. It wasn't a snap-call but he did eventually stick in his remaining 900,000 chips. Much to his demise, Ranzinger's {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} was behind Motovsky's {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{q-Spades} and Ranzinger was eliminated. Motovsky gave a fist pump to show some excitement as he moved closer to the top of the leaderboard. Just prior to that, Ozan Guruz was eliminated on another table and the field was reduced to the last 19 hopefuls.
