A Bounty for Baldelli

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Plenty of chips were already in the middle until the river of a board {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{A-Clubs} and Petr Vlcek tossed in his bounty chip and last 5,000 chips. Fabien Baldelli called and Vlcek showed {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, which Baldelli had beat with the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

"Wee a bounty," the Frenchman cheered and faces Christian Arstad, Michael Magalashvili and Camilla Reventlow on his table.

Hughes Takes from Ta

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Until the river of a board {Q-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, there were already 9,000 in the middle and Luc Thong Ta checked from early position. Ryan Hughes bet 5,700 and Ta eventually called, then mucked when Hughes turned over the {Q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

Hughes chipped up early on, as did Roland Israelashvili, Aaron Duczak, and Walter Treccarichi.

Armino Takes from Racener

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Leonardo Armino raised to 500 and John Racener three-bet to 1,500 from one seat over, Armino called. On the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop, the Dutchman checked and Racener continued for 1,200 to pick up a call by Armino.

Both players then ended up checking the {3-Diamonds} turn and {6-Spades} river, and Armino turned over {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to win the pot. Oliver Heidel sat down at the same table that very moment while Michal Mrakes and Jeff Cormier are one table over.

Sameeian's Deuces

Level 2 : 75/150, 25 ante

After finishing 9th in the MONSTER STACK earlier this week, Ali Sameeian is looking to make another deep run. And he has started well.

Sameeian limped in from the cutoff to be raised to 500 by the player on the button. Action folded back to Sameeian who called.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{J-Clubs}, Sameeian check-called the 400 bet of his opponent.

They both checked through the {5-Spades} on the turn. The {7-Diamonds} on the river completed the board, now Sameeian check-called the 1,000 bet of the other player. His opponent showed {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} but Sameeian had him bested with {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for two pair, sevens and twos, and he took the pot.

Pidun and Schuster Chip Up Early

Level 2 : 75/150, 25 ante

Thomer Pidun already built a healthy profit in the early stages of the tournament and Kai Schuster just did so on a table that also includes Sam Grafton and Christophe Pereira. Five players invested 350 each to head to a flop of {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and the action was checked through. On the {9-Spades} turn, Schuster bet 1,100 and the button called before the small blind check-raised to 4,100.

Only Schuster called to see the {4-Spades} on the river and the small blind checked. Schuster bet 6,000 and his opponent reluctantly folded, the German flashed {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for the turned straight.

Duczak Claims First Bounty

Level 2 : 75/150, 25 ante

Aaron Duczak was the first player to eliminate an opponent and claim the €300 bounty while at least two further players have already been sent to the rail as well.

In one of the recent hands, Duczak opened to 250 and was called by Yves Kupfermunz on the button, David Urban in the small blind and Roland Israelashvili in the big blind. The flop of {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} was checked to Kupfermunz, who bet 1,000, and Israelashvili was the only caller.

After the {2-Clubs} turn, Israelashvili checked again and folded to a bet of 2,000.
