Merson Eliminates the Poker Brat

"I have a chance," we heard Phil Hellmuth say. By the time we made our way over to the table, that chance had went out the window. The dealer was too quick in swiping the board, but we do know Hellmuth held {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and was eliminated by October Niner Greg Merson, who held {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

Hellmuth seemed in decent spirits despite the loss, no doubt focused in on his big heads-up match in the Round of 16 in Event #5: €10,450 Mixed Max - No-Limit Hold'em tomorrow.
