Solid Start For Hachem

Bruno Fitoussi opened with a raise to 1,800 from under the gun and Joe Hachem three-bet to an unknown amount. Action folded back to Fitoussi and he moved out enough chips to call.

The flop came down {4-Clubs}{A-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Fitoussi checked. Hachem dipped into his stack and came out with a bet of 7,700.

Fitoussi inquired how much Hachem was sitting on behind and Hachem told him that it was about 11,000. Eventually Fitoussi relented and mucked his hand.

Hachem's face relaxed into a smile and he showed the table {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} for top set of aces. A jovial Hachem scooped up his new chips and was able to start play on Day 2 on a solid note.
