Toth's Appetiser

Level 4 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Richard Toth won the last hand before the players go on a 60-minute dinner break.

He raised to 16,000 from the button and called when Max Silver three-bet to 46,000 from the big blind. The flop came {5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Silver's 42,000 c-bet was raised up to 95,000 by the Hungarian. Call.

Both players checked the {k-Clubs} turn before Toth bet 120,000 (140,000 back) on the {10-Diamonds} when the action was checked to him. Silver tank-folded.

Play will restart at about 9.15pm.

Steve O'Dwyer Eliminated in 6th Place (36,357)

Level 4 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

The action was on Steve O'Dwyer and he moved all in from under the gun. Tristan Wade, who had crippled O'Dwyer just a few moments earlier, had not even stacked the chips he won in the hand with Michael Watson but he made the call.

O'Dwyer{K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Wade{A-Spades}{J-Spades}

Wade had O'Dwyer dominated but with the luck O'Dwyer had been having in previous rounds the hands was far from over. The dealer put out the {4-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop, the turn was the {2-Hearts}, followed by the {9-Hearts} on the river and with that O'Dwyer was eliminated and Wade is rapidly approaching 800,000 chips.

Wade Scoops Yet Another Pot

Level 4 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Tristan Wade started this final table quite cautiously but he has certainly opened up his game since we have become short-handed and he is now the chip leader with just six players left.

His lead at the top was extended when he opened to 16,000 under the gun and only Michael Watson made the call. A flop reading {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}, Wade checked, Watson bet 24,000 and Wade called. The turn brought the {9-Hearts} into play and after around a minute Wade bet into Watson with a pile of chips worth 110,000, a bet that Watson called. The {4-Clubs} on the river was checked by both players.

Wade showed {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, Watson tapped the table to acknowledge he was beaten and he mucked his hand.

O'Dwyer gets Looked Up; Crippled

Level 4 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Steve O'Dwyer has been the most recent aggressive player and got action when he had a big hand, but it didn't pay for him.

Tristan Wade raised to 16,000 from the cut-off before O'Dwyer three-bet to 46,000 from the small blind. Wade thought for a while and then four-bet all-in for 264,000. Call.

Wade: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
O'Dwyer: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

"It's a bad idea to flip with me", commented O'Dwyer.

His run good had to come to an end at some point though and it did as the board ran out {2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. He's in serious danger with around 40,000 now.

Another O'Dwyer Shove

Level 4 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Richard Toth opened to 16,000 from the cutoff, Tristan Wade folded but Max Silver called from the small blind. Steve O'Dwyer came along for the ride and the dealer got busy putting out the {3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{A-Clubs} flop.

Silver lead out with a bet of 22,000 only to see O'Dwyer move all in. Richard Toth looked as if he was pondering a call but he ultimately folded, which prompted Silver to ask for a count. The deal obliged and informed the young Brit it would be an extra 158,000 to call.

Like Toth before him, SIlver looked like he may call but after 30 seconds he said, "I fold," and flicked his cards towards the dealer. It cannot be long before someone looks up O'Dwyer.

O'Dwyer Looking to Bad Beat Someone

Level 4 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Steve O'Dwyer has been all in on two occasions during the last orbit but both times he has not been called.

"I'm just looking for my spot to bad beat someone," said O'Dwyer as he stacked his chips, referring to yesterday's second round match between Freddy Deeb, Ryan D'Angelo and himself where he got his chips in bad on at least three occasions but still won each time!

Silver Very Active

Level 4 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Max Silver raised for the third consecutive hand and this time he picked up a caller in the shape of Richard Toth in the small blind. The flop came down {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{Q-Spades}, Toth checked, Silver made a continuation bet of 24,000 and was called by Toth.

The dealer put the {A-Spades} on the turn and both players checked its arrival. The {6-Clubs} was the river card, Silver checked, Toth bet 44,000 and Silver folded almost as quickly as Toth had bet.

Emil Patel

It didn't take long to lose another player and this time it was Emil Patel's turn.

Richard Toth raised to 16,000 from the hijack and was called by Max Silver on the button before Patel three-bet all-in for 150,000 from the small blind. Toth re-shoved and Silver left them to it.

Patel: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Toth: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board ran {2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}. Toth up to about 350,00 chips now.
