Smith Hits the Rail, Snell Busts Zhang
Adam Smith's tournament is over, with the Sydney native committing the last of his chips pre-flop with pocket jacks and running into an opponent's pocket aces.
Bobby Zhang's joined Smith on the rail shortly afterwards, with Jo Snell the man to send him there, with Zhang kind enough to provide PokerNews with the details after the fact.
Following a raise to 20,000 from a player in the cutoff, Snell flexed his big stack and moved all-in from the button. Zhang was sitting on a stack of 200,000 in the blinds and woke up with and called all-in for his tournament life, and after the original raiser folded, Snell rolled over offsuit.
Zhang's final board would come down , with Snell catching a seven on the river to send Zhang out in 92nd place. Snell stacked up to just over 1 million after the hand.
