Charlie Hawes Eliminated in 8th Place (AU$29,330/$19,850)

Level 19 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Charlie Hawes
Charlie Hawes

Charlie Hawes final table has come to a close with Shivan Abdine the closer. It was Abdine who instigated the initial action, opening to 40,000 from under-the-gun with the action folding around to Hawes on the button, who moved all-in for 263,000 in total.

Michael Doumani asked for a count and eyed up the stacks behind him belonging to Marc Camphausen (730k) and Abdine (740k) and elected to fold, as did Camphausen. Abdine however, was going nowhere and cut out the calling chips and the cards went on their backs.

Shivan Abdine: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Charlie Hawes: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Hawes was at risk with a dominated hand and the {4-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop was not a kind one, giving Abdine the nut flush draw to go with his lead in the hand. The {5-Diamonds} turn and {7-Diamonds} river would be the last two cards Hawes would see in the event, hitting the rail in eigth place for AU$29,330.
