Pritchard Takes the Lead With a Massive Cooler

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Action was on the river with a sizeable pot already in the middle of the table. The board showed {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Jason Pritchard was first to act. He put out a bet of 15,000. His opponent very quickly moved all in and Pritchard called even quicker.

Pritchard's opponent turned over {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a full house, but it was no good. Pritchard was holding {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a better full house. That would allow Pritchard to take down the big pot and move to roughly 230,000 chips, good enough for what looks like the biggest stack in the room so far.

Harrison Moves Up the Counts With a Chop

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

In a pot with right around 30,000 in it, Robert Harrison was facing off against one other player. The board was {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{A-Hearts} and Harrison put out a bet of 15,000. His opponent thought it over for a little bit, then called. Harrison showed down his {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} but his opponent was holding {A-Spades}{8-Spades} for the same playing hand. The two each had trips and would chop the pot.

Harrison moved to nearly 215,000 after chopping the pot and looks to be one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Godena Sends One to the Rail

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Jarrad Godena
Jarrad Godena

A player opened on the button with a raise to 4,000 and Jarryd Godena moved all in from the small blind. Action folded back to the button player who thought it over for a bit then called, putting himself at risk for roughly 40,000.

Jarryd Godena: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Opponent: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} and Godena's ace-high stayed in the lead allowing him to take down the pot and move to right around 100,000.

Ramanous Doubles Up and Takes One Out

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Two players went all in on a flop of {J-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Ray Ramanous was one of them. He was at risk from the larger stack, but had the shorter stack covered.

Ray Ramanous: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Larger Stack: {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Shorter Stack: {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The larger stack had flopped a straight, but was behind and needed running tens or queens to take the lead. The turn was the {K-Diamonds} and the river was the {A-Diamonds} and while the larger stack improved to a better straight, Ramanous set was still the best hand so he took down the pot to more than double up and take one player out of the tournament.
