Lutes Doubles Through Stewart

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Scott Stewart raised it up to 200,000 from middle position and Travis Lutes was the lone caller from the big blind. The flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} was checked through and the {J-Spades} hit the turn. Lutes bet out 285,000 and Stewart raised it up to 600,000. Lutes called and the {K-Diamonds} completed the board.

Lutes checked it over to Stewart who started to count out his big chips. Stewart thought for about a minute before he dropped a stack in to put Lutes all in. Lutes immediately lifted his cards off the felt and announced call, showing {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a rivered straight.

Stewart's head dropped as he was forced to show {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} for a rivered pair of kings that were no good. Stewart dropped to 3.1 million while Lutes doubled up to just under 4 million.
