Comel Puts Max Pressure on Lopes

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Gustavo Lopes bet 46,000 from early position on a {9-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop, and Sebastien Comel raised to 155,000 out of the big blind. Lopes called and then called another 255,000 on the {2-Hearts} turn. When the {j-Spades} fell, Comel told the dealer he was all in. It was enough to put Lopes at risk for a little over 700,000.

The Brazilian went deep into the tank, thinking for a few minutes. He apologized to the other players, saying he needed a couple more minutes.

"Take your time," Ismael Bojang said. "Take 10 minutes if you have to."

Another player agreed.

"We're playing for $8 million," he said. "I'll punch anyone in the face if they call the clock on you."

After another couple of minutes, Lopes said he was folding.

"Show the jack of hearts," Bojang cajoled Comel.

No such card, or any other, was turned over.
