Feng Wang Warned Then Busts

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

There was a limp for 300 from early position and then Jeffrey Saunders raised to 1,350. Action then got to Feng Wang in the big blind who held up the five fingers on his left hand and threw in a T$5,000 chip.

The dealer took it as a raise, but as nothing verbal was declared, a few other players wanted the floor called to clarify. The floor arrived and ruled it a raise but warned Wang that he must verbalize any future raises.

The limper folded and Saunders took his time before raising to 18,000. Wang then studied his opponent for a minute or so before declaring he was all in and Saunders quickly called.

“He’s got aces,” some of the other players told Wang.

Saunders: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Wang: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

In a dramatic runout, Wang flopped a set, the turn brought flush chop outs, but the river delivered top set for Saunders who couldn’t help but give a little triumphant yell of relief.

There's no need for Wang to verbalise any future bets as he has been eliminated.
