Harald Sammer Takes from Qui Nguyen, Busts Another

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

Harald Sammer opened for 1,100 in the hijack and saw the player on his left shove all in for 1,650. The small blind called, and Qui Nguyen made it 7,600 to go from the big blind. Sammer came back with a re-raise to 19,000. That forced a fold from the small blind, but Nguyen stuck around with a call.

Nguyen tanked awhile and then checked the {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. Sammer bet 18,000, and Nguyen folded after some more thought.

Sammer: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Cutoff: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{j-Spades}, keeping the aces best for Sammer and earning him the whole pot.
