Mike Wattel Moves Ahead

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 7,000 ante

Early in three-handed action, Mike Wattel played a hand to seventh street with Perry Friedman. Wattel made aces and sixes, which was just better that Friedman's aces and fours. Friedman also missed a flush draw.

On the next hand, Friedman got some chips from Chris Ferguson to bridge the gap between the two, both now sitting behind Wattel on the leaderboard.

Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {8-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades} / {x-}
Ferguson: {x-}{x-} / {3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} / {x-}

Friedman bet sixth and seventh streets, and Ferguson called both streets. Friedman showed a ten-high straight, and Ferguson mucked trip fives face-up.
