Jason Gola Takes the Chip Lead

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Jason Gola

Jason Gola: {x-}{x-} / {k-}{3-}{9-}{k-} / {x-}
David Baker: {x-}{x-} / {j-}{2-}{7-}{q-} / {x-}

Both players saw fourth street with face cards, and David Baker kept the lead the whole way. He bet on each street, and Gola called him down. Going into seventh, Gola had two kings showing with a nine and a three against the queen-high board of Baker. Baker bet seventh, and Gola called.

Gola won the hand, showing {8-}{4-}{2-} for a nine, beating the jack-low, which was the best Baker could make of his hand.
