Heath Turns His Straight

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Ben Heath checked a {9-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop from the big blind, and Joe Serock bet 3,000. Jan Schwippert called, as did Serock. Everyone checked the {7-Hearts} turn, and the {k-Spades} completed the board on the river. Serock bet 9,500, getting a fold from Schwippert. Heath quickly called with {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, though, winning a showdown against {k-}{q-}.
