Milan Simko

Milan Simko raised to 45,000 from under the gun, and Samuel Phillips three-bet to 120,000 from the small blind. Simko counted his chips out and moved all in for 445,000. Phillips called.

Simko was at risk and well ahead with {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, up against Philips' {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}, and Simko held on.

Rudoy Accidentally Wins a Hand

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mikhail Rudoy has been the most aggressive player at his table thus far, and he once again raised to 40,000 from middle position. James Florence called from the big blind, and the flop came {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}.

Florence check-called a bet of 45,000 from Rudoy, and the {a-Hearts} came on the turn. Florence checked again, and Rudoy bet 135,000. Florence called, and the {5-Hearts} fell on the river.

Florence checked for the third time and Rudoy bet 185,000. Florence called, and Rudoy said, "You got it," and began to turn over his hand. At that point, Rudoy realized he had the eight of hearts in his hand with {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Florence threw his cards away, and Rudoy won a pot in which he didn't think he had a chance.

Alexander Elias Eliminated in 13th Place ($17,316)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Alexander Elias
Alexander Elias

Alexander Elias moved all in on the button for his last 162,000 and Mohsin Charania called from the small blind. Samuel Phillips was in the big blind and tanked for a minute before calling also.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Charania checked. Phillips bet 200,000 and before folding Charania said, "I was hoping you'd rip it in pre." Phillips tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. "That would've sucked," continued Charania. A player asked if he had ace-king and he confirmed he did. "I was hoping you'd make my dreams come true and just rip it in pre."

Elias was at risk and tabled {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}. "Damn. I was thinking that was such a good flop for me," he said. He still had outs to make a straight, but the turn was the {4-Spades} and the river was the {3-Diamonds}, sending him home in 13th place.

Griffin Malatino Eliminated in 14th Place ($17,316)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

With about 250,000 in the pot already on a board reading {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, Griffin Malatino was in the cutoff and managed to get his remaining 465,000 chips in the middle. Samuel Phillips was in the small blind and was the one to give him action.

Malatino was at risk but ahead with {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}, up against Phillips' {7-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a pair and a straight draw.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Phillips picked up more outs with a flush draw. The river was the {2-Hearts} and Phillips completed his flush to eliminate a stunned Malatino.

"You know you can never have too many outs with seven-four on a six-four-three board. It's like having ace-king of diamonds against queens and you flop a royal flush draw," laughed Mohsin Charania.

Phil Collins was officially blinded out for his remaining chips and finished in 16th place. His hand was killed after Rainer Kempe raised all in for 44,000. Mikhail Rudoy reraised to 100,000 and everyone else folded.

Rainer Kempe: {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Mikhail Rudoy: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Rudoy took a stranglehold on the hand. The turn brought the {4-Clubs}, giving Kempe a flush draw, but the river was the {9-Spades}. Kempe was eliminated in 15th place.

Aces For Allen

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mikhail Rudoy raised to 40,000 from the cutoff and Jack Allen moved all in for 174,000 from the small blind. Rudoy called.

Allen was at risk but well ahead with {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}, while Rudoy held {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

The flop came {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, and Andy Frankenberger piped up and said, "There's always a club on the turn." Sure enough, the {j-Clubs} hit the turn and Rudoy picked up a flush draw. The river was the {6-Hearts}, though, and Allen held on.

Mikhail Rudoy Wins a Monster Pot

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Rainer Kempe raised to 50,000 from the cutoff and was called by Rudoy on the button and Jack Allen in the big blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Kempe bet 65,000 which both players called.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and Kempe bet 135,000. Once again both players called and the {k-Clubs} fell on the river. Allen checked and Kempe moved all in having both players covered. Rudoy called for his remaining 307,000 and Allen took some time before finally folding. Kempe showed {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a straight and Rudoy tabled {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, making a full house on the river.
