David Brent pushed all in from early position for 2,160,000 and Scott Baumstein called from the button. Baumstein was in a dominating position with {a-Spades}{q-Spades} against Brent's {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}.

The board ran out {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Brent was able to hit a jack on the river to double up, leaving Baumstein with only 155,000 chips.

In the next hand, Thomas Ryan raised to 425,000 from early position and Baumstein slid his remaining chips into the middle. Paul Gibbons called from the big blind and there was heads-up action for the side pot.

The flop came {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Ryan checked, Gibbons bet 500,000 and Ryan called. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and both players checked. The river brought the {5-Hearts} and Ryan led out for 900,000, getting a fold from Gibbons. Ryan tabled {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a full house and Baumstein was eliminated in 17th place
