Madsen Loses One, Then Wins One
Hold'em
We caught up with Jeff Madsen on a board of with more than 10,000 in the middle already. Madsen was under the gun and he was facing off against Michael Krasienko on the button. On the river, Madsen checked over to Krasienko. Krasienko bet and Madsen called. Krasienko showed and his full house was good to take down the pot.
On the very next hand, Ralph Perry opened from the hijack and was called by Madsen in the big blind.
The flop came and Madsen check-raised a bet from Perry. Perry moved all in and Madsen quickly called. Madsen was holding and he was well ahead of Perry's .
The board completed with the on the turn and the on the river and that was good enough to give Madsen the win. With that, Madsen evened out his stack a bit and is close to where he started the day.
