James Chen's Chip Swings Continue

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

With a lot already in the middle, James Chen, Kevin Gerhart and Alex Ferrari faced off in a three-way pot. The board read {Q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and Kevin Gerhart checked to James Chen. Chen Bet. He was called by both players.

The river was the {6-Hearts} Gerhart checked to Chen. Chen bet. Ferarri called and Gerhart folded.

"Two pair," Gerhart said. He showed {K-}{K-}{Q-}{10-} for two pair. Chen turned up his hand, but there wasn't anything better than Ferarri's in it, and the chips we pushed to Ferrari.

Chen, who at one point was almost up to a million, is now back in the middle of the pack.
