Mercier Takes Two

Level 2 : 200/400, 100 ante

Darren Elias bet 5,200 and Jeff Lisandro called to muck when Elias showed {9-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}.

One hand later, Anthony Zinno raised to 1,000 and Jason Mercier called in the small blind. Both drew one card each and checked. Mercier won the pot with a {9-}{8-}{6-}{3-}{2-}.

Last but not least, Darren Elias raised to 1,200 and Mercier called on the button. Philip Sternheimer mucked and his cards were accidentally exposed, showing an {A-}{K-}{Q-} high. Marvin Karlins in the big blind called and drew two, both Elias and Mercier drew one.

Karlins checked, Elias bet 2,700 and Mercier called while Karlins folded. "I have a ten-nine," Elias announced and Mercier replied, "That's no good," and showed {10-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{2-}.
