Leal Loses a Flip

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
John Leal
John Leal

Matt Affleck raised to 70,000 from early position and John Leal moved all in for his last 175,000 from the cutoff. Daniel Chan was in the small blind and looked over at Affleck's stack before moving all in over the top. Affleck counted out his stack and weighed his options but opted to fold.

Leal was at risk with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and found himself in a coin flip against Chan's {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

The flop came {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Chan pulled ahead with two pair, kings and eights. Leal needed a ten to stay alive, but the turn was the {4-Hearts} and the river was the {a-Spades}, sending him to the rail.
