Hands #9-14: Stephens Picks Off a Solomon Bluff

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Hand 9: Chris Gallagher raised to 35,000 from middle position and everyone folded.

Hand 10: Jermel Stephens limped from early position and Bryan Hollis moved all in for 124,000 from middle position. Everyone folded and Hollis stayed alive.

Hand 11: Hollis moved all-in again for 170,000 and after some deliberation in the big blind from Chris Solomon, he eventually folded and Hollis scooped another pot.

Hand 12: Alex Cordova raised to 28,000 from the button and both blinds folded.

Hand 13: Solomon raised to 30,000 from the button and the blinds folded.

Hand 14: Solomon raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and Stephens called from the button. The small and big blind folded. The flop came {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Solomon led out for 30,000. Stephens called.

The turn brought the {A-Diamonds} and both players checked. On the {8-Diamonds} river, Solomon bet 60,000 and Stephens quickly called. Stephens was the first to show his hand — {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} — and Solomon tossed his cards into the muck.
