Day 2 of Event #93: $777 Lucky 7's No-Limit Hold'em at the 2024 World Series of Poker begins at 10 a.m. today, with just 296 players returning to their seats.

With three starting flights, the event here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas received a total of 6,292 entries, generating an unofficial prize pool of $4,302,218. Day 1a saw 1,498 entries whittled down to just 69 players. Michael McNeil (3,225,000) was the chip lead by the end of this first flight and David Funkhouser (3,190,000) was a close second. Vanessa Kade (1,490,000) made the top ten on Day 1a and two-time bracelet winner Jeff Sluzinski (355,000) also made it through to Day 2.

Day 1b saw 1,559 players battle it out, with only 77 bagging to Day 2. Jason Wheeler (1,725,000) and Jason Daly (1,770,000) ended Day 1b in the top ten chip counts, and return today with sizable stacks, but were both knocked out the top ten after the monster Day 1c flight. Shawn Daniels (1,600,000), Dan Heimiller (1,420,000), Maurice Hawkins (1,390,000), Avi Cohen (945,000), and Dejaunte Alexander (245,000) also made it through, all with varying chip stacks.

Yesterdays Day 1c was the busiest by far, with 3,235 entries and only 150 of those return today on the second-to-last day in the 2024 WSOP. Some notables who entered and made it through Day 1c include, two-time bracelet winner Ilija Savevski (1,365,000), Jack Duong (1,145,000), Jessica Vierling (1,095,000), Kathy Liebert (1,000,000), Levi Berger (920,000), Dinesh Alt (460,000) and Anthony Spinella (385,000). Last year's Main Event sixth-place finisher Dean Hutchison (945,000) is through to Day 2 after playing through Day 1c.

Marc Rivera (3,255,000) was the chip leader from Day 1c and remains the biggest stack coming into todays Day 2. Rivera has over $3,140,000 in live tournament earnings with two cashes already in the 2024 WSOP. Rivera cashed Event #95: $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold'em and came in 88th place and also cashed in the Event #85: $1,000 Flip & Go No-Limit Hold'em Presented by GGPoker. He returns to Day 2 with the chip lead, and will inevitably have his eye on the top prize.

Only one $25K Fantasy Player remains in this tournament coming into Day 2, so all eyes will be on and Bin Weng (380,000) to see how many points he can lock up during one of the last tournament of the summer.

Day 2 starts at 10 a.m. local time on July 16. Play will continue for 17 forty-minute levels or until only five players remain, whichever comes first. Fifteen-minute breaks are scheduled every three levels, with a 60-minute dinner break after Level 31 (around 4:30 p.m. local time).
