Medic Spins Up His Four Big Blinds

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Nenad Medic was on a very short stack of four big blinds and was sitting in the big blind when Jessica Teusl raised from the small blind and they got it all in.

Nenad Medic: A?J?9?8?All in
Jessica Teusl: 9?7?5?5?

The board came A?J?Q?4?7? and Medic made a pair of aces, enough for the double-up.

A much bigger pot went his way a few hands later when he raised to 56,000 from the hijack, which was three-bet to 150,000 by Dylan Lambe in the small blind. Jannick Sch?b called, and Medic called all in for 138,000 total.

The flop was Q?6?3? and Lambe moved all in. Sch?b folded and the other two turned over their cards.

Nenad Medic: K?K?9?3?All in
Dylan Lambe: A?Q?J?2?

Medic was ahead on the flop, but Lambe made two pair on the J? turn.

The river, however, was the 6?, pairing the board to give Medic better two pair and the triple-up.
