Kupin Able to Pick Up a Bounty on the Short Stack
Level 12
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Aaron Kupin started the hand with just 36,000 chips, which at this point would make him a more likely bounty than a bounty winner. However, it happened to be that Maximilian Silz, who was sitting on the button, had an even shorter stack, just over 4,000 chips.
Action started with an open from the cutoff player. Silz moved all in. Kupin was in the big blind and came over the top with an all-in. The initial raiser called and we had a three-way all-in two bounties up for grabs.
Maximilian Silz: Q?6?
Aaron Kupin: A?9?
Cutoff: 8?6?
The board came A?10?J?9?A?. Kupin made the full house, while his opponents missed completely, and he was able to chip up to a healthy stack as well as pick up the $3,000 bounty.
