The 2024 WSOP Event #53: $3,000 9-Game Mix saw an initial field of 379 take their seats in the hope to claim the bracelet. This created a prize pool of $1,011,930 to be divided between 57 players. From this starting field two days ago, to just sixteen survivors today.
Ashish Gupta comes in with the massive chip lead of 2,629,000 and will be looking to claim his first WSOP bracelet along with the $215,982 up top. Rounding out the podium are five-time WSOP bracelet winner Adam Friedman (1,814,000) and WSOP bracelet winner Scott Bohlman (1,538,000). The inaugural champion Nicholas Julia (809,000) is still in and will look to reclaim his title.

Many bracelet winners made their way through like Yuri Dzivielevski (1,361,000), Richard Ashby (750,000), Phil Hui (700,000), Ben Yu (569,000), Koray Aldemir (552,000), John Esposito (550,000), and Joseph Couden (332,000). Each one of them looking to add another bracelet to their decorated resumes.
The remaining players will return Saturday, June 22, at 1 p.m. local time for Day 3. Limits resume in Level 23 and will continue to increase at 60-minute intervals.
