Vitch Takes it on the River

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

David Prociak opened 250,000 under the gun and Christopher Vitch on the button, Joe Firova in the small blind and Konstantinos Tsikopoulos in the big blind all made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of 9?9?3?, and the action checked to Vitch who fired 250,000. Firova folded but Tsikopoulos raised to 800,000. Prociak snap-mucked and Vitch stuck around with a call.

When the 4? fell on the turn Tsikopoulos continued for 1,000,000, and gave Vitch a side stare as Vitch began to think about his decision. After a about 30 seconds, Vitch called.

The 9? completed the board on the river and Tsikopoulos slowed down with a check. Vitch piled up a bet of 2,200,000 and as he started to slide it across the line Tsikopoulos pitched his cards into the muck.
