A Star Studded Field Returns at 1 PM On Day 2 of The $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo Eight or Better
The first WSOP 2024 mixed game tournament of the summer kicked off with a bang as Event #4: $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo Eight or Better saw 928 entrants create a prizepool of $1,238,880. 275 players will return at 1 PM in Horseshoe Gold with 140 of them guaranteed a $3,003 payout, with all eyes on the first place prize of $209,350 and the WSOP gold bracelet.
Leading the way is James Chen (US), who bagged a massive stack of 386,000. His largest cash came from the 2023 WSOP where he finished runner up to Ben Lamb for $304,571 in the $10,000 Omaha 8 or Better. With this massive stack today, he looks to put himself in prime position for a deep run in another Omaha field at the WSOP.
Right behind him is poker pro Upeshka De Silva who sits with 240,000. The two-time bracelet winner has an online WSOP final table in Omaha 8 or better where he finished in 9th place. With this massive stack today, he looks to better that finish and take home a third piece of WSOP Jewelry.

Many others return to snag a piece at WSOP glory today. Each one of them is looking to add a WSOP bracelet to their already decorated resumes.
Players will return tomorrow at 1 PM on Level 16 with blinds at 2,500-5,000 and betting limits at 5,000-10,000. The blind lengths will be upped to 60-minutes as compared to yesterday with intentions to play a full 10 levels.
