Hunichen Loses a Big Pot to Hoffenberg and is Left with Just a Few Big Blinds

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

All the money went in before the flop. Chris Hunichen open-raised in early position, Maurice Hawkins called on the cut-off. David Hoffenberg then shoved from the small blind. Hunichen called, Hawkins folded.

David Hoffenberg: K?K?All in
Chris Hunichen: A?Q?

The flop K?9?9? was terrible for Hunichen, giving Hoffenberg a full house and leaving him with running aces as the only way to win. He started counting out the bet for Hoffenberg's stack before the dealer dealt out the 2? turn and the 3?. A pot of around 2,000,000 was sent to Hoffenberg and Hunichen kept a very short stack.
