Steve Yea
Steve Yea

Steve Yea moved all in with A?7? and Chih Fan made the call with K?Q?.

Yea was ahead with his ace-high but the flop of K?8?5? was not his friend as it gave the lead to Fan with top pair.

Miraculously, the runout of 4?6? gave Yea a runner-runner straight and he scooped the pot for a double-up.

Dube a Fan of the Double

Level 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Mark Dube
Mark Dube

Mark Dube opened to 500,000 with Q?Q? and Chih Fan called with 6?7?.

The flop of K?7?6? gives Fan the lead with two pair but Dube continued for 500,000 with his big pair and queen-high flush draw.

Fan quickly called and the two went to the turn 10?, which saw a jam from Dube for 2,400,000 and a call from Fan to put him at risk.

Unfortunately for Fan, the river was the 10? which gave Dube the flush and secured him the pot for the double.

Joseph Brumpacheco Eliminated in 7th Place ($62,687)

Level 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Joseph Brumpacheco
Joseph Brumpacheco

John Henry Gordon opened to 500,000 with Q?J? and then Joseph Brumpacheco three-bet with 7?7? to 2,600,000- leaving 225,000 behind. The action folded back to Gordon who just called after some considerable thought.

On the flop of 4?10?A?, Brumpacheco put the last of his chips into the middle and Gordon called to put him at risk.

Brumpacheco was still in the lead with his sevens, but the turn K? was brutal as it gave Gordon the nut straight to lock up the hand. The river was the irrelevant 6? and Gordon was awarded the pot, while Brumpacheco was eliminated in seventh place as the first casualty at the final table.

Fan continued his betting on the river 2? with 850,000 and Spasov put out 4,500,000 and it was apparent that Fan was upset but he made the call to see the bad news that Spasov had a full house.
