Bronshtein hit top pair on the 4?7?8? flop and checked over to Soverel, who checked behind. The turn came the Q? and Bronshtein led out for 75,000.

Soverel, with straight and flush draws, raised to 300,000 and Bronshtein laid down his pair.

Soverel Takes Another One

Sam Soverel opened to 120,000 from the hijack with J?10? and it folded to Aleksejs Ponakovs in the small blind with A?9?, who put in a three-bet to 420,000. Soverel made the call and the flop fanned out J?10?6?.

Ponakovs missed the flop and checked over to Soverel, who bet out 270,000. Ponakovs took a few seconds, but in the end tossed his cards in the muck and another pot was sent to the chip leader Soverel.

Bronshtein continued for 75,000 and Soverel called to the 10? turn. Both players checked and the J? fell on the river.

Soverel checked again and Bronshtein tapped his chip stack before surrendering the pot to Soverel's higher pocket pair.
