Prydryk Gets Back to Winning Ways
The double up of Joe Ghio proved to be only a short-lived hiatus in Ruslan Prydryk's relentless accumulation of chips.
Prydryk raised to 1,000,000 from the cutoff and Dean Hutchison called on the button. The flop came 4?Q?10? and Prydryk continued for 1,500,000.
Hutchison called to the 6? turn where Prydryk fired out another 2,000,000. Hutchison folded this time and Prydryk raked in the pot.
But that was only a small pot compared to the next one Prydryk played, this time against Joshua Payne. Prydryk again raised to 1,000,000 and Payne defended his big blind.
The flop came K?J?Q? and Prydryk bet 1,000,000 again. Payne called and checked the 7? turn before Prydryk tossed out 3,500,000.
Payne called again to the 2? river, where he faced a bet of 5,500,000. Payne gave it some thought before calling as Prydryk showed J?J? for a flopped set to take another pot.
