Moneymaker Making Chips
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Chris Moneymaker, Viktar Horbach, and Jan Jacobs were three-way to a turn on 9?3?8?Q?. Moneymaker checked from the small blind and so did Horbach from middle position. Jacobs then bet 6,000 into the pot of 25,000 from the hijack before Moneymaker raised it up to 22,000.
Horbach quickly folded with his shorter stack but Horbach stuck around for a call. The 7? river completed the board and Moneymaker bet for another 37,500 chips.
Jacobs thought about it for a few seconds but ended up letting his hand go, shipping the pot to the champion of the historic 2003 Main Event Champion.
