Matakis Pads His Chip Lead with Some of Lagaze's Chips

Ian Matakis raised to 230,000 from the cutoff and got a called by Marc Lagaze on the button leading to a J?6?8? flop.
Matakis checked to Lagaze who tossed out a bet for 425,000. Matakis called and watched as the dealer put the 2? out on the turn.
Matakis checked to Lagaze who counted out a bet of 930,000. Matakis paused briefly as he contemplated his action then, after a minute or so, he announced pot to the dealer, amounting to a bet size big enough to put Lagaze all in.
Lagaze entered the tank and sprent a full three to four minutes there, often times looking up at Matakis in an apparent attempt to get a read. Ultimately, he elected to toss his cards into the muck and allow Matakis to extend his chip lead further in his attempt to essentially lock up Player of the Year honors.
