No Call For Duek

Level 8 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

In three-way action to the river, Farhad Jamasi and defending champion Robert Cowen checked a board of 9?5?3?6?4?. Michael Duek bet 70,000 and Jamasi quickly folded. Cowen gave it brief consideration and then folded, too, but not before exposing the 8? face up.

"I was going for the middle," Cowen said.

"Micky in the Middle," Erick Lindgren replied.

Defending champion Cowen and last year's runner-up Dash Dudley share the same table and both have decent stacks.
