One for Moncek

Level 25 : Limits 100,000/200,000, 20,000 ante

Jerry Wong: XxXx / 9x2xAx folded on fifth street
Michael Moncek: XxXx / 5x3x7x
Carlos Chadha: XxXx / Jx3x folded on fourth street

Carlos Chadha had the bring-in with a jack and Jerry Wong called. Michael Moncek did the same and it was three-way action to fourth street.

Moncek bet 100,000, Chadha folded, and Wong called. Moncek bet again on fifth and this time it did the trick as Wong released.

Despite winning that small pot, Moncek is a bit down from the start of the play as the triumvirate take turns winning most pots on either third or fourth street.

Chadha Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 25 : Limits 100,000/200,000, 20,000 ante

Jerry Wong: XxXx / 2x9x8x
Michael Moncek: XxXx / 9xJx folded on fourth street
Carlos Chadha: XxXx / Jx3xKx folded on fifth street

Carlos Chadha won the first two limped hands that brought no bets in between himself and Michael Moncek, one of which saw him "overbet" fifth street for 200,000 when the pot was fewer than that with the antes and bring-in.

Jerry Wong then completed and was called by Moncek and Chadha. Wong bet fourth to force out Moncek while Chadha called, another bet by Wong on fifth then took it down.

Jerry Wong: XxXx / 2xKx6xJx / Xx
Carlos Chadha: XxXx / 3x7x5x4x / Xx

Wong completed with a deuce and Chadha called. Chadha caught a low runout and bet all the way. Wong reluctantly called on sixth street and then folded on seventh street as the three stack sizes were almost even.

Wong, Moncek and Chadha to Determine Champion in Event #33: $10,000 Razz Championship

An unscheduled Day 4 is required to determine a champion in Event #33: $10,000 Razz Championship, as the latest Championship Event of the 2023 World Series of Poker was unable to determine a winner throughout seven 90-minute levels the previous night. Out of a field of 123 total entries, only three players remain in contention and will share the biggest slice of the $1,143,900 prize pool with a top prize of $298,682 and the coveted WSOP bracelet up for grabs.

Leading the final three contenders is Jerry Wong, who returns with a stack of 3,025,000. This will be the 83rd time that Wong has cashed in a WSOP-branded event, and he will certainly aim to finally cross winning a gold bracelet from his bucket list after numerous close calls. Wong has one WSOP Circuit ring to his name and one dozen WSOP final table appearances including an 8th place in the 2016 WSOP Main Event and a 5th place finish in this Razz Championship back in 2018.

Second in chips is Michael Moncek, who follows just one and a half big bet behind with 2,760,000. Moncek already has two bracelets on his resume and doubled his tally earlier in the 2023 WSOP by taking down Event #6: $5,000 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha.

Last but not least, Carlos Chadha is likewise seeking his first bracelet and bagged up 1,590,000 in chips last night. Chadha finished 12th in this event in 2021 and locked up a new highest WSOP finish already, surpassing the seventh-place result in the 2021 WSOP Event #85: HIGH ROLLER No-Limit Hold'em. However, only a victory would surpass the high score of $214,496 from back then, too.

The conclusion of the tournament may be picked up on the PokerGO live stream, in which case all live updates on PokerNews would be published according to the delay in order to not spoil any of the outcome.
