A Lot of Chops; One Scoop and One Bustout
With several players on fumes below two big bets, it was Dan Shak who got scooped over on table 144 when his aces were cracked by two pair and a low. The same table saw Christopher Stephan misread his cards as he declared queens up on the Q?9?2?7?A? river when he checked last to act.
Kyle Ray announced aces up for Stephan to table his cards and show the Q?9?7?7?. He then profusely apologised as he noticed the set of sevens and raked in the entire pot against Ray and Jay Kerbel.
In the meanwhile, Craig Chait saw his stack reduced to a mere 20,000 and he then chopped in a three-way pot with Bryce Yockey and Pascal Leyo.
All-in again shortly after for a severe short stack, Chait got looked up by Kyle Cartwright and Yockey. They checked down to the 9?7?2?5?3? river and Cartwright showed his A?Q?4?3? for a wheel. The 10?9?4?2? of Chait was no good and the A?K?8?5? of Yockey earned no portion either.
