Who Will Come Out on Top in Event #23: $50,000 High Roller?
There are five players returning to the felt for the third and final day of Event #23: $50,000 High Roller with their sights set on a World Series of Poker gold bracelet along with the first-place prize of $1,546,024. In an event that saw a total of 124 entries for one of the largest buy-ins of the series, there is still plenty of money left to play for.
Leading the way, looking for his second WSOP bracelet in as many years, is none other than Alex Foxen with a stack of 13,340,000 chips. Foxen won his first bracelet last year in the $250,000 event, earning the largest score of his career for over $4.5 million. Foxen will be looking to add another seven-figures to his resume with a win here today.
Not far behind him, also looking for his second WSOP bracelet, is Jans Arends with a stack of 10,300,000 chips. Arends recorded his first bracelet in an online event, and will be looking to earn his first live bracelet. Arends is as decorated as the man above him as he will be looking to add his first seven-figure live cash to his poker resume. Arends is a beast in the online streets and will be looking to make his mark on the live felt today.
Both players have distanced themselves from the rest of the field which includes Leon Sturm (4,850,000), Bill Klein (4,675,000), and Seth Davies (3,940,000). While Davies comes in as the short stack, he will begin the day with over 30 big blinds which allows for plenty of deep-stacked poker to be played.

The cards are scheduled to go back in the air at 4 p.m. PDT with roughly 20 minutes remaining in Level 18 with the blinds at 60,000/120,000 and a 120,000 big blind ante.
