Kastory Wins Early Pot
Yueqi Zhu opened from under the gun and was called by a player on the button, Mark Kastory in the small blind and a player in the big blind.
Kastory drew two as did the big blind and Zhu, while the button stood pat. Following the first draw, Kastory led out, receiving calls from the big blind and Zhu. The button responded by raising and all three of his opponents called.
The second draw saw Kastory, the big blind and Zhu all take one. The button once again stood pat but unlike the previous betting round just called after Kastory fired off another bet and was called by the big blind and Zhu.
On the final draw, Kastory, the big blind and the button all stood pat while Zhu took one last card. Kastory barreled for a third time, receiving calls from the big blind and the button, though Zhu, clearly not satisfied with the result of the last draw, relinquished his holding. Kastory then tabled 6?5?3?2? for six-five badugi, sufficiently strong to scoop the pot early in the day.
