Donny Rubinstein was sitting on one of the biggest stacks in the room with well over 100,000 but just lost a big pot to cut down his stack.
Rubinstein was in the big blind and called a raise from an under-the-gun player, as did an opponent in the hijack. The flop came 8?2?9? and action checked to the hijack, who tossed out a bet.
Both opponents called that bet and another on the 2? turn. The river came the 5? and the hijack bet again. Rubinstein quickly called, while the player under the gun frowned before making a reluctant call.
The hijack turned over A?4?2?7? for trip deuces and a low as he scooped the entire pot.
