Haxton Takes The Chip Lead

Level 14 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

Action was picked up on the flop in a pot between Isaac Haxton in the big blind and Biao Ding in early position.

The flop read J?10?9? and Haxton checked over to Ding who bet 50,000. Isaac raised to 250,000 which Ding called.

On the J? Isaac led out for 380,000 and after some time in the tank Ding moved all in for 1,100,000 effective. Haxton thought about it for a little bit but ended up calling and a massive pot was built.

Isaac Haxton: Q?8?
Biao Ding: 10?9?

Ding had flopped bottom two pair and was counterfeited on the turn jack, while Haxton flopped a queen-high straight and a straight flush redraw. The river came out an 8? and Haxton took down a monster pot at the expense of Ding.
