Winebarger Bets At Every Opportunity

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Robert Gussoni opened to 600 from middle position and faced a three-bet to 1,600 from Derek Winebarger in late position. Phil Ivey called out of the small blind as did Gussoni to send the three players to the flop.

Ivey and Gussoni both checked after the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop and Winebarger continued for 2,400. That bet was enough to force Ivey out of the hand but Gussoni was not prepared to fold just yet, instead making the call.

Gussoni checked for a second time on the {10-Spades} turn and Winebarger, unwilling to slow down, fired off 6,400. Gussoni gave it some thought before mucking to send a decently sized pot Winebarger's way.

"Good fold," Winebarger commented. "I didn't have a straight flush or a boat but I had something pretty good".
