Shack-Harris Leads the Final 13 Into Day 3 of Razz Championship; Hastings Hunts for Seven
After seven levels of play, a total of 13 players made it through to Day 3 of Event #79: $10,000 Razz Championship at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas. This event saw a total of 139 players register, creating a prize pool of $1,296,175 and a first place prize of $328,906.
In prime position to secure that top prize is Brandon Shack-Harris who ended up bagging the chip lead with 1,152,000. Shack-Harris is no stranger to the WSOP as he has two bracelets of his own and has already secured his best cash of this series, guaranteed at least $20,746. Shack-Harris now looks to make it an even bigger cash along with another bracelet that will see him add his name to a short list of players with three WSOP bracelets.
Hot on his heels is Brian Hastings, who sits with 1,149,000. Hastings has already won his sixth WSOP bracelet this year and a win in this event will put him in serious contention for Player of the Year. With less than an ante between he and Shack-Harris, both are in contention to add another bracelet to their resumes.
