The Pot That Could Decide Player of the Year

Level 13 : Limits 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Daniel Weinman: {x-}{x-}/{3-}{j-}{6-}{10-}/{x-}
David Bach: {x-}{x-}/{5-}{j-}{3-}{4-}/{x-}

David Bach completed before Daniel Weinman raised. Bach called as both players caught jacks on fourth and Weinman jumped out of his chair and began celebrating.

He bet again and Bach called. Weinman kept betting on fifth and Bach stuck around. Weinman caught a ten on sixth, while Bach caught a four.

"Didn't work out for me as well as the other guy," Weinman said.

"This pot could decide Player of the Year," tablemate Eric Wasserson said as Weinman called a bet.

Both players checked on seventh and Weinman opened up {8-}{4-}{2-} for 8-6-4-3-2 to win the pot.

Weinman is currently 527 points behind Dan Zack in the POY chase and would need to win this event to surpass him.
