No-Limit Hold'em
Daniel Negreanu opened to 20,000 from the hijack. He got one caller, Vincent Lam in the small blind. The pair checked the flop leading to the
turn. Lam led out for 25,000, getting a call from Negreanu. The pair again checked on the
river. Lam turned over
, and Negreanu mucked his hand to give Lam the pot.
Two hands later, Negreanu, now in early position, opened for the same bet. He again received a single caller, being Lam, who was now in the cutoff.
On the flop, Negreanu check called a bet of 20,000. They checked the
turn before Lam fired 69,000 on the
river.
"Bad river card. How much is that?" Negreanu said as soon as Lam fired, "a queen, of all the cards." After a minute or so, Negreanu made the fold, giving Lam another pot to add to his growing chip stack.
