Lam Grabs One to Bronstein

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a blind versus blind limped pot, both Vincent Lam and Noah Bronstein checked on the flop {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

The {3-Diamonds} turn went also check-check and a {k-Hearts} fell on the river. Lam bet 250,000 and Bronstein immediately called, but mucked his cards when Lam revealed {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} for the straight.

No-Limit Hold'em

Vegard Andreassen opened for the pot from the button. Sandeep Pulusani, the big blind, moved all in and Andreassen snap called, putting himself at risk.

Vegard Andreassen: {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Sandeep Pulusani: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Pulusani was already ahead with his jacks, but improved to a set on the {j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop. The {10-Diamonds} turn gave him a full house before the {8-Diamonds} river completed the board. Andreassen was unable to improve, and sent to the rail in 7th place.

Lam and Kellett Chop

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Richard Kellett opened from the button for 325,000. Vincent Lam, the big blind, defended. On the {k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, Kellett continued for another 225,000, earning another call from Lam. The pair checked through the {5-Clubs} turn and {3-Diamonds} runout, which paired the board twice.

Lam turned over {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}, while Kellett showed {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. With the doubly paired board, and both having an ace kicker, the two split the pot.
