In a heads-up pot, the flop read and with about 225,000 in the middle, the five-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner was faced with a bet of 60,000 from Ariel Albilia before putting in the check-raise to 180,000.
Albilia took a few seconds before announcing all in and Cunningham snap-called his stack of 380,000.

Cunningham flopped a pair but was in trouble against Albilia's top pair. However, the turn gave him the lead with two pair and the river meant he was able to stay at the table to continue the battle for his sixth bracelet.
