Deeb Doubles; Fading Prop Bet with Chip Leader Oxman

Level 10

Earlier in the day, Shaun Deeb was at the same table as current chip leader Ari Oxman, who at the time the bet was made, had 120,000 in chips. Always up for a friendly prop bet, Deeb wagered Oxman $500 that he wouldn't make it through the day.

Oxman's stack has since steadily grown, while Deeb has already been to the rebuy cage.

The five-time bracelet winner's stack recently received an influx of chips, thanks to a timely double-up in Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better with his {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} against his opponent's {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} on a completed board of {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, giving Deeb jacks full of aces to send his stack over 50,000.

Meanwhile, after his stack went over 200,000, Oxman recently took a hit in Big O after Nicole Cantrell took 30,000 from it as she boosted her growing stack to 96,000.

"So long as someone has around 100,000, I'm 25% to win" said Deeb, who for the sake of his $500 may be a founding member of the Nicole Cantrell fan club.
